A 5-day exciting trip to magical Istanbul

1st
day:

At noon, at approximately 15.00 meeting at Syntagma square and departure to Istanbul with successive stops to rest and to pick up our friends from Lamia, Larissa and Thessaloniki. Arrival at Kipi borders and after a visit to the Duty Free shop we pass Kesani, Malgara and Redesto, and then we arrive in Istanbul!

2nd day:
Our hotels are located, in the Centre of the old town, next to the covered market and close to Agia Sofia. Before we get into our hotels (check in you should do at 14.00), we'll go for a walk by the Patriarchate.

konstantinoupolh-travel-chrysomallisThen we will visit the beach of Keratios Bay, where we will take the boat to do a small tour in Bosphorus.

After having our check-in and our rest for a while we will be ready for a walk to the market! We will visit the famous Kapali Tsartsi market, where you can choose jewelry and leather to more than 4000 shops of the market.

Later,we will have an appointment for food and traditional Turkish music. The output of our night will be oriental!! Chanoymakia, plenty of good food, drink, dancing and show.

 

3nd day:

In the morning, we will have our breakfast and then we will start our tour in Istanbul. Departure from our hotels at 09:30.

We will visit Agia Sofia, Blue Tzami, Hippodrome and Dolma Baxtse and we will stay for our lunch in TAKSIM Square.

We have enough time to stroll, and then we will visit the SARAY for traditional sweets. In the afternoon we will return to our hotels and at night we will have the opportunity to learn the night view of the city.

 

4nd day:

This is our last day so, after having our breakfast we will have our meeting at 10: 00 in the morning in order to visit the Istanbul Sapphire, the highest building of the city and the Mall, which consists of over 100 stores in six floors for shopping.

On the 55th floor (with ticket 15 pounds) you can see the view and make "Sky dive" .

Then we will have free time to go again in Taksim Square and after that we will visit the Egyptian Market where you can buy spices and herbs.

In the afternoon we will return to our hotels, and whoever wants can try the unique experience of traditional Turkish HAMAM in famous Suleimaniye Hamami.

 

5th day: 

Breakfast and departure to Athens. We cross the borders and then we continue for the trip back home. Arrival in Athens late in the evening .

General information:
From Greek-Turkish borders we need about 6 hours up to Istanbul. Usually we spend much time at the borders, so be careful and responsible to do the least possible time.
Turkey's currency is pounds. Foreign currency you can do when you get to the Istanbul. Of course they accept also euros, but pay attention to rates with the million pounds, and of course to change. The rate today is 1 euro = approximately 2.30 TL.
Any damage to the rooms charged to those who stay.
Istanbul is quite expensive city. Prices on most items are a bit more expensive than Thessaloniki or Athens and usually, 20-30 times more than their value.
The program of the trip you have in detail, is optional. Nothing is mandatory, we just organize various things and whoever wants can follow them.

Some of the prices for several of our activities are:
Cruise on Bosphorus: 20 €/person.
Admission to BAR-CLUB with drinks: 10-15 €/person.
Admission to big clubs of the city: 20-30 €/person.
Dinner in a tavern without music: 15 €/person.
Suleimaniye Hamam: 35 €/person.
Istanbul Sapphire: lift ticket for the 55th floor: 15pounds.
Entrances to museums: Agia Sofia 28 pounds and Dolma Baxtse 30 pounds. Make sure that you have the amounts set by the previous day ,so as not to waste time.

Guidance is not included in the price. Tour guides are paid per person, one in each coach and the fee is 5 €/person. Those who don't want to follow the program can stay in the hotel and have their own program.
Following anyone all the program of the trip will spend overall for food and fun around 130-150 €.
